Privacy policy
This page tells you what happens to the details you give us when you book. We ask for as little as we can, we keep it no longer than we must, and we sell it to nobody.

Who is responsible for your data
Adsolo Oy is the controller of the personal data described here, at the address above.
For anything at all about your data, write to sales@luxurybasecamplevi.fi. A person reads that address, and we answer within a month.
What we collect
When you send a booking request: your name, your email address, your mobile number, the number of guests, your dates, the language you want to hear from us in, and — if you give them — your estimated arrival time and anything you write in the notes.
When you pay: our payment provider tells us whether a payment succeeded or failed, for how much, and gives us its own reference. We never receive your card number, and we never store it.
While you use these pages: a one-way hash of your connection’s address, so that nobody can flood the booking form. There is no analytics, no tracking and no advertising here, and the booking pages set no cookies.
Why we have it, and on what legal basis
To answer your request and to host your stay — because we are carrying out the agreement between us (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
To keep our accounts — because accounting law requires it (Article 6(1)(c)).
To keep the booking form safe from abuse, and to settle a damage claim if one ever arises — because we have a legitimate interest in both (Article 6(1)(f)).
Who else handles it
Stripe processes the payments and stores your card. We see only its references and whether a payment worked.
Resend delivers our emails to you.
Our own property system holds your booking in a Google Calendar, so that the apartment is ready when you arrive.
Railway runs the servers and the database of this booking service, so your booking details sit on machines it keeps for us.
Nobody else gets your details, and nobody gets them for marketing.
Transfers outside the EU and the EEA
Stripe, Resend, Google and Railway are United States companies, or are controlled from there. Some of the handling described above therefore takes place outside the EU and the EEA, and we have to tell you so.
Those transfers rest on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, which are part of the data-processing terms each of them supplies us under, and — for those certified under it — on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. If you would like the details of the arrangement with any one of them, write to sales@luxurybasecamplevi.fi and we will send them to you.
How long we keep it
A request that never became a booking: erased 30 days after it ended.
Your contact details: erased 365 days (about 12 months) after you leave, or after a cancellation.
Your booking also appears in the property calendar our own system keeps, with your name and your phone number, so that the apartment is looked after while you are here. That entry stays as our operating record of the stay; ask us at sales@luxurybasecamplevi.fi if you would like it removed.
The card saved at Stripe: detached 30 days after you leave, together with the customer record Stripe keeps for us. Nothing can be charged to it after that.
Our financial records — what was booked, what was paid — are kept as long as accounting law requires, but without your personal details once the periods above have passed.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, ask us to restrict how we use it while a question about it is open, and ask for it in a form you can take elsewhere. Write to sales@luxurybasecamplevi.fi.
You can also object to the two things we do on the basis of our legitimate interest — keeping the booking form safe from abuse, and settling a damage claim if one arises. Tell us at sales@luxurybasecamplevi.fi that you object and we stop, unless we have compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or we need the data to establish or defend a legal claim.
Erasing everything while your stay is still ahead would mean we cannot host you, so we will say so before we do it.
If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the date and version below change with it. The version you accepted when you booked is recorded with your booking.
